The freezer temperatures remained steady at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never moving more than a fraction of a degree—this is key in preventing freezer burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, reaching the desired temperature for initial set within an hour and maintaining that temperature steady throughout the course of our testing. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a basic refrigerator that might not be as eye-catching as some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make a good choice. In my experiments, I noticed that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance however it doesn't rank among the best in our rankings. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat in order to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.
